# Can I change my child accounts with a new one?

Circleboom's policy does not allow the substitution of one Twitter account for another within an existing paid subscription. Each subscription is uniquely tied to a specific Twitter account, ensuring the security and integrity of your Twitter authorization.

If you need to manage more Twitter accounts with Circleboom, our annual prices offer up to a 50% discount. Most of our subscribers are permanent and long-term users, and we aim to provide even more affordable prices for them.

If you have short-term clients, you won't be able to benefit from our annual price advantages. That's why we don't support changing child accounts with a new one.

While we offer more affordable prices for annual subscriptions, we also keep our monthly prices at a reasonable level.

Agencies may prefer a monthly subscription, and at the end of each term (1 month), if they wish, it's possible to end their subscription and create a new one for new clients.

Unfortunately, you can't switch your paid account with another Twitter account. One Circleboom Twitter account can be linked only to one Twitter account. This way, Circleboom guarantees the safety of your Twitter authorization.

# How to switch between my Child/Master account

Circleboom's Plus and Premium plans enable you to manage multiple accounts effortlessly, and you can easily switch between them on your dashboard.

Please click on the "Accounts" button located in the left menu, which is indicated by an arrow in the image provided below.

In the opening tab, you can navigate among your connected accounts by clicking the `Manage This` button for streamlined account management.

# What does the "no info" label on the Grid's Last Tweet column mean?

There are three main reasons for the "no info" label on Grid.‌

1. Protected accounts:  **Protected Tweets are not visible.** Only visible to your Twitter followers. We can't fetch the "Last Tweet" data of protected accounts.&#x20;
2. Some Twitter accounts have never tweeted yet. They don't have the last tweet date.
3. We occasionally clean our Tweets database to make room for new tweets by deleting old tweets more than 40 days old. Since the inactive threshold is 30 days, you can safely assume that the users are inactive if there is "no info" on their last Tweet date. (unless the account is a protected account as those accounts are not public)



# Using The Grid

Every list in Circleboom Twitter (followers, following, search results and analytics tables) uses the same grid. Once you know how the grid works, you can use it in every feature. Let's start with the **Not Following Back** list, which shows the accounts you follow that are not following you back.

## Filter Options

Click **Filter Options** to open the filter drawer, choose your filters and click **APPLY FILTERS**. On account lists, you can filter by:

1. **Follower Quality**: Eggheads, Protected, Fake/Bot, Inactive and Overactive accounts.
2. **Verification Status**: Verified accounts are mostly owned by celebrities, companies or renowned internet people. Don't expect them to follow you back easily. You can hide them on your "Not Following Back" list with this filter, or add them to the Whitelist to protect them from accidental unfollows.
3. **Find in Bio & Name**: Search for a keyword in bios, names and usernames.
4. **Whitelisted & Blacklisted**: List your whitelisted or blacklisted accounts. The Whitelisted accounts don't show up on the grid unless you want them to. We recommend reviewing your whitelisted accounts every once in a while.
5. **Follower / Following / Tweet Count**, **Follow Ratio**, **Join Date**, **Engagement**, **Language** and **Location**.

## Bulk Actions

Select accounts with the checkboxes, then use the buttons above the grid. Each button shows how many accounts are selected, for example **Unfollow (N selected)**.

1. Click **Add to List (N selected)** and choose **Whitelist** to protect the selected accounts from bulk actions such as unfollow, remove follower and mass block.
2. **Blacklist** almost works the same as the Whitelist and protects you from following unwanted profiles accidentally.

## Columns

The Grid only displays the necessary info about the accounts you're working on. Click any column header to sort the list; click again to reverse the order.

1. **NAME** displays the profile name, the screen name (Twitter @ handle) and location info if it exists. Clicking the @ handle opens the account's Twitter profile in a new tab.
2. **TWEETS** shows the tweet count of the account. This number occasionally differs from the number shown on the Twitter profile page, because Circleboom shows public user data from its caches.
3. **JOINED** shows the account's age and creation date on Twitter. Some Circleboom users sort accounts by age and follow them accordingly.
4. **FOLLOWING** shows how many accounts this account follows.
5. **FOLLOWERS** shows how many people follow this account.
6. **FOLLOW RATIO** compares the account's followers to the accounts it follows.
7. **ACTIVE & INACTIVE** shows the account's engagement class.
8. The **Last Tweet** date displays the last known tweet date of the account.

## Search and Pages

- **Inline search**: Type a name or username into the search box above the grid. The list updates as you type. To search inside bios, use the **Find in Bio & Name** filter.
- **Pages**: Use the page controls at the bottom of the grid to browse the list. Filters, search and sorting apply to the whole list, not only the current page. The master checkbox selects only the accounts on the current page.


# I'm getting some error messages

Twitter sends a confirmation code or an error message to every action made through the Twitter API. [Circleboom](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool) logs these messages, but they might not be shown to you during fast follow actions.​

## You are unable to follow more people at this time.

Twitter sends this error message along with [a URL to this Help Center article](https://help.x.com/en/using-x/x-follow-limit) when;

1. Your account may be locked or limited.
2. You may have hit a follow limit.

These limits are clearly defined in their documentation as follows;

> 1. **Every account can follow 5,000 accounts total**. Once you’ve followed 5,000 accounts, there are limits to the number of additional accounts you can follow. This number is different for each account and is based on your ratio of followers to following; this ratio is not published. Follow limits cannot be lifted by Twitter and everyone is subject to limits, even high profile and API accounts.
> 2. **Every Twitter account is able to follow up to 400 accounts per day. Verified Twitter accounts are able to follow up to 1,000 accounts per day.**  in addition to the account-based limits above. Please note that this is just a technical limit to prevent egregious abuse from spam accounts.
> 3. **Accounts are also prohibited from aggressively following other accounts**.

The limits are defined by Twitter. If its systems decide you’re following/unfollowing aggressively, Twitter may slow things down for an uncertain period of time. When this happens, the Twitter API sends a “you’re not allowed to follow more” error even if you haven’t followed 400 accounts that day. If you wait a little bit, Twitter lets you follow again to see how you’ll behave.

To help protect your account, Circleboom processes follows at 50 every 15 minutes, with a daily safety limit of 400 follows (800 for unfollows). Any remaining actions continue automatically the next day.

## You have exceeded the Twitter error limit. Please wait a little bit more to try it again.

After getting a certain number of Twitter error messages, Circleboom prevents you from making more requests to prevent your account from getting locked or suspended. 

If you're getting this error, call it a day and give it a break. When you try after a while, you'll be able to do follow and unfollow requests through the Twitter API.

## To protect our users from spam and other malicious activity, this account is temporarily locked. 

Twitter locks or suspends users’ account time to time when they do an aggressive follow churn as mentioned on Circleboom and X Rules [https://help.x.com/en/using-x/x-follow-limit](https://help.x.com/en/using-x/x-follow-limit)

That means, when a user follows too many users in a short time period or unfollows them faster than an average Twitter user, Twitter marks the user for a period to close-watch him/her for follows/unfollows across the Twitter ecosystem including all 3rd party apps like Circleboom,  Twitter mobile apps, and websites.

## You have been blocked from following this account at the request of the user.

When you try to follow a Twitter account that blocked you earlier, Twitter sends this error message to inform you. Circleboom logs these messages but they might not be shown to you during fast follow actions.

## Invalid or expired token.

This might happen when;

1. You try to follow/unfollow after getting "[you are unable to follow more people at this time](https://help.x.com/en/using-x/x-follow-limit)" error, Twitter may think that someone or some apps are using your Twitter account in a harmful way, and may invalidate your Twitter account's tokens (authentication info) to protect your account from being abused by 3rd party systems and expects you to re-login. 
2. Your browser has a "Do not track me" feature on it. It may stem from several Twitter authentication issues including the "invalid or expired token" error Twitter sends and blocks your follow/unfollows requests if it is open. ![](https://assets.circleboom.com/help-tool/twitter-help/images/Circleboom-tracking-protection.jpg)
3. The App’s permissions revoked on Twitter. Please check [https://x.com/settings/connected_apps](https://x.com/settings/connected_apps) page if our app named "Circleboom” still got access. If it is revoked by mistake, it prevents Circleboom to fulfill your requests on behalf of you.
4. [Your account may be temporarily suspended](https://help.circleboom.com/twitter/faq/my-account-is-suspended-what-should-i-do) and/or blocked doing any follows/unfollows by Twitter due to aggressive usage.
5. Your computer's time is not synced properly. Please sync your time with the internet time.

You could upload your Twitter archive files as compressed zip files. We support Zip and Gzip formats. 

Use your favorite Zip program to compress the Tweet.js file and rename the zip file with one of these;

* tweet.js.zip,
* tweet.zip,
* tweet.gz,
* archive.zip,
* archive.gz

Assuming that you've already managed to download your Twitter archive, below is a step-by-step explanation of how to zip your archive file (The example includes the use of a Windows PC and WinRar.)

1. Locate your downloaded Twitter archive. It is likely going to be in your downloads folder as a .zip file.

# Whitelisting Twitter Followers

The Whitelist protects selected accounts from all bulk actions in Circleboom, such as bulk unfollow, bulk remove follower and mass block. Whitelisted accounts are excluded from these actions in every Circleboom feature. You can list them anytime with the **Whitelisted & Blacklisted** filter in **Filter Options**.

**Step 1:** Open any follower or following list, for example **Followers / Following Management & Analytics > Following > Not Following Back**. The **shield icon** on each row adds that account to your Whitelist individually.

**Step 2:** If you want to add more than one Twitter account to your whitelist, select them and click **Add to List (N selected)**, then choose **Whitelist**.

# Profile clicks not working/slow on the grid list?

The Twitter profile clicks and the follow/unfollow requests use the same browser capacity which allows 4 concurrent connections for modern-day browsers. That means, if there are items in the queue, the profile click request also gets in the line and waits for the queue to be processed.

It is better to click Twitter profiles on the Grid when there are no items in the queue.

# Why some of Twitter accounts’ last tweet date column show “no info” in the grid listing?

1. If Twitter accounts are protected then nobody can reach those accounts’ tweets. We label those accounts’ last tweet date as a “No info” on Grid.
2. Accounts have never tweeted or deleted all their tweets.
3. Circleboom bots regularly check all cached Twitter accounts in our servers and update the last tweets date regularly. Some accounts may not be updated yet. Most likely, these accounts will be updated soon. During this short time gap, we label those accounts as “no info” on Grid.

Circleboom's policy does not allow the substitution of one Twitter account for another within an existing paid subscription. Each subscription is uniquely tied to a specific Twitter account, ensuring the security and integrity of your Twitter authorization. 

To manage a different Twitter account, a new Circleboom subscription must be established for that particular account. This approach is designed to uphold the security and management quality of Circleboom's services.

Can I replace my Child account? Each Circleboom subscription is tied to a specific Twitter account, so Child accounts can't be swapped for new ones.

# How to Add your Followers to Blacklist

The Blacklist protects you from visiting and seeing unwanted profiles accidentally. When you add accounts to your Circleboom blacklist,  we **exclude the blacklist results from the searches** unless you say so.

How can you proceed to do this through Circleboom Twitter? \

**Step 1**: Log in to your Circleboom Twitter account.

**Step 2**: From the left menu, go to **Followers / Following Management & Analytics > Followers** and choose the list you wish, such as **All My Followers** or **Fake/Bot Followers**.


**Step 3**: Click select all checkboxes on the left upside of the Grid list.

**Step 4**: Click **Add to List (N selected)** above the grid and choose **Blacklist**.

**Step 5**: Repeat the same for other pages. 

You can see all your blacklisted accounts under **Followers / Following Management & Analytics > Whitelist & Blacklist > Blacklist**.

## Easy Steps to Connect Your Twitter Accounts
Firstly, you need to create a Circleboom account. Visit the Circleboom [login page](https://twitter.circleboom.com) and click on the "Create an account" button. 

You will be prompted to enter your name, and email address, and choose a password for your new Circleboom account. Fill in the required fields and proceed to the next step.

After successfully creating your Circleboom account, you will be directed to connect your Twitter account. This is a crucial step to link your Twitter profile with Circleboom, enabling us to fetch necessary information to generate personalized reports and manage your account efficiently.

Click on the "Connect with Twitter" option. You will be redirected to Twitter's authorization dialog. Here, you need to authorize the app by logging into your Twitter account and allowing Circleboom access. Circleboom is an Official X Enterprise Developer, so this authorization runs through X's official flow and complies with X's guidelines, ensuring your data's privacy and security.

Upon authorization, Circleboom will collect the necessary information from your Twitter profile to create personalized reports and insights. The information we collect is protected under our strict [privacy policy](https://circleboom.com/privacy) and X's guidelines. 

We prioritize your privacy and do not share your data with third parties.

# Getting "Somehow your Twitter token is expired or invalidated..." message

The token issue is a very rare issue which some of our users may occasionally experience. Actually, the issue is on the Twitter side.

If you get the below pop-up repeatedly while you are using Circleboom app, you can get rid of it by following these instructions.

> "Somehow your Twitter token is expired or invalidated this happens when you changed something on Twitter or You've been idle too long. Please log-in again to fix this"

### Step 1: Find Circleboom

Please go to your X (Twitter) settings: **Settings and privacy > Security and account access > Apps and sessions > Connected apps**. You can also open [x.com/settings/connected_apps](https://x.com/settings/connected_apps) directly. Once you get the app list, look for "Circleboom" in it.

If you couldn't see the Circleboom app on your Twitter Apps list,

1. Please log out from Circleboom and Twitter
2. Log in again to your Circleboom account
3. Check the app list until you see Circleboom under Settings and privacy > Security and account access > Apps and sessions > Connected apps. Sometimes, Twitter might not show the apps on your list. Therefore, proceed with this step frequently until you see the Circleboom app in your Twitter Apps List. You will see the Circleboom app soon on your list.

### Step 2: Revoke the permission

After seeing Circleboom Apps on your Twitter App List, please revoke Circleboom's permissions and remove it from your Twitter account.

### Step 3: Rest 

Please give your Circleboom account a rest, at least a couple of hours after revoking Circleboom’s permissions to try again. Do not use your Circleboom account for a couple of hours. 

 By “Waiting a couple of hours", we mean around 12 hours at minimum, and this might be necessary to fix your problem. Most probably, the Twitter servers release your token within that period.

### Step 4: Try again

After waiting a couple of hours, log in to your Circleboom account to see if it is working. 

If the issue is still there, please repeat the steps again, and wait at least 24 hours on Step 3.

## You can download your Twitter archive by following these steps

* Use your favorite browser to open the [X (Twitter)](https://x.com) homepage.
* Click on the `More` button located on the left panel of your Twitter page.
* Choose `Settings and privacy` from there.

* Enter your password and verify your account as instructed.

* Then, proceed with the `Request archive` button.

* When you request your archive, X (Twitter) will prepare a ZIP file with the information most relevant to your account, including all tweets, images, and videos you've shared (including retweeted ones, too), and send you an email when it is ready.

* Click on the `download link` in the email Twitter sent you. This link will take you to your archive file's download page.

* Once you open up the `Download or view data page`, click on the `Download data` button.

* Once you have downloaded your Twitter archive file, extract it to a folder. In the extracted folder, you will have a data subfolder, and there, you should look for the file named `Tweets.js` in the folder. Alternatively, the archive file can be called as `tweet.js`, `tweets` or `tweet`.

Twitter’s back-end systems run on a distributed cluster of decomposed services. There are often cases where data sets will need to resynchronize between instances and data centers. This means, all the user data moves between server farms all the time, and some data servers may update later than others.

**Step 1:** Log in to Circleboom Twitter

Log in with your Circleboom account. If you don't have one yet, you can create it using the [login page](https://twitter.circleboom.com).
