# Can I change my child accounts with a new one?

{% hint style="info" %}
**Child Accounts** feature is only available for **Plus** and **Premium** subscribers.
{% endhint %}

Circleboom's policy does not allow the substitution of one Twitter account for another within an existing paid subscription. Each subscription is uniquely tied to a specific Twitter account, ensuring the security and integrity of your Twitter authorization.

If you need to manage more Twitter accounts with Circleboom, our annual prices offer up to a 50% discount. Most of our subscribers are permanent and long-term users, and we aim to provide even more affordable prices for them.

If you have short-term clients, you won't be able to benefit from our annual price advantages. That's why we don't support changing child accounts with a new one.

While we offer more affordable prices for annual subscriptions, we also keep our monthly prices at a reasonable level.

Agencies may prefer a monthly subscription, and at the end of each term (1 month), if they wish, it's possible to end their subscription and create a new one for new clients.

# Can I switch my Twitter account with another one in a paid plan?

Unfortunately, you can't switch your paid account with another Twitter account. One Circleboom Twitter account can be linked only to one Twitter account. This way, Circleboom guarantees the safety of your Twitter authorization.

So, if you need to manage another Twitter account, you need to create a new Circleboom Twitter subscription.

# What does the "no info" label on the Grid's Last Tweet column mean?

There are three main reasons for the "no info" label on Grid.‌

1. Protected accounts:  **Protected Tweets are not visible.** Only visible to your Twitter followers. We can't fetch the "Last Tweet" data of protected accounts.&#x20;
2. Some Twitter accounts have never tweeted yet. They don't have the last tweet date.
3. We occasionally clean our Tweets database to make room for new tweets by deleting old tweets more than 40 days old. Since the inactive threshold is 30 days, you can safely assume that the users are inactive if there is "no info" on their last Tweet date. (unless the account is a protected account as those accounts are not public)

# Using The Grid

Every list in Circleboom Twitter (followers, following, search results and analytics tables) uses the same grid. Once you know how the grid works, you can use it in every feature. Let's start with the **Not Following Back** list, which shows the accounts you follow that are not following you back.

![Not Following Back list](https://content-assets.circleboom.com/twitter-tool/following-not-following-back.png)

## Filter Options

Click **Filter Options** to open the filter drawer, choose your filters and click **APPLY FILTERS**. On account lists, you can filter by:

1. **Follower Quality**: Eggheads, Protected, Fake/Bot, Inactive and Overactive accounts.
2. **Verification Status**: Verified accounts are mostly owned by celebrities, companies or renowned internet people. Don't expect them to follow you back easily. You can hide them on your "Not Following Back" list with this filter, or add them to the Whitelist to protect them from accidental unfollows.
3. **Find in Bio & Name**: Search for a keyword in bios, names and usernames.
4. **Whitelisted & Blacklisted**: List your whitelisted or blacklisted accounts. The Whitelisted accounts don't show up on the grid unless you want them to. We recommend reviewing your whitelisted accounts every once in a while.
5. **Follower / Following / Tweet Count**, **Follow Ratio**, **Join Date**, **Engagement**, **Language** and **Location**.

## Bulk Actions

Select accounts with the checkboxes, then use the buttons above the grid. Each button shows how many accounts are selected, for example **Unfollow (N selected)**.

1. Click **Add to List (N selected)** and choose **Whitelist** to protect the selected accounts from bulk actions such as unfollow, remove follower and mass block.
2. **Blacklist** almost works the same as the Whitelist and protects you from following unwanted profiles accidentally.
3. To add the selected accounts to a new or an existing Twitter list, use **Add to List (N selected)** too. [Click for the blog post about it with a video](https://circleboom.com/blog/how-to-create-twitter-lists-with-just-a-few-clicks/).

## Columns

The Grid only displays the necessary info about the accounts you're working on. Click any column header to sort the list; click again to reverse the order.

1. **NAME** displays the profile name, the screen name (Twitter @ handle) and location info if it exists. Clicking the @ handle opens the account's Twitter profile in a new tab.
2. **TWEETS** shows the tweet count of the account. This number occasionally differs from the number shown on the Twitter profile page, because Circleboom shows public user data from its caches.
3. **JOINED** shows the account's age and creation date on Twitter. Some Circleboom users sort accounts by age and follow them accordingly.
4. **FOLLOWING** shows how many accounts this account follows.
5. **FOLLOWERS** shows how many people follow this account.
6. **FOLLOW RATIO** compares the account's followers to the accounts it follows.
7. **ACTIVE & INACTIVE** shows the account's engagement class.
8. The **Last Tweet** date displays the last known tweet date of the account.

{% hint style="info" %}
The Grid's default order is the last known Tweet date.
{% endhint %}

## Search and Pages

- **Inline search**: Type a name or username into the search box above the grid. The list updates as you type. To search inside bios, use the **Find in Bio & Name** filter.
- **Pages**: Use the page controls at the bottom of the grid to browse the list. Filters, search and sorting apply to the whole list, not only the current page. The master checkbox selects only the accounts on the current page.

# I'm getting some error messages

{% hint style="info" %}
Twitter sends a confirmation code or an error message to every action made through the Twitter API. [Circleboom](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool) logs these messages, but they might not be shown to you during fast follow actions.
{% endhint %}

## You are unable to follow more people at this time.

Twitter sends this error message along with [a URL to this Help Center article](https://help.x.com/en/using-x/x-follow-limit) when;

1. Your account may be locked or limited.
2. You may have hit a follow limit.

These limits are clearly defined in their documentation as follows;

> 1. **Every account can follow 5,000 accounts total**. Once you’ve followed 5,000 accounts, there are limits to the number of additional accounts you can follow. This number is different for each account and is based on your ratio of followers to following; this ratio is not published. Follow limits cannot be lifted by Twitter and everyone is subject to limits, even high profile and API accounts.
> 2. **Every Twitter account is able to follow up to 400 accounts per day. Verified Twitter accounts are able to follow up to 1,000 accounts per day.** in addition to the account-based limits above. Please note that this is just a technical limit to prevent egregious abuse from spam accounts.
> 3. **Accounts are also prohibited from aggressively following other accounts**.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The limits are defined by Twitter. If its systems decide you’re following/unfollowing aggressively, Twitter may slow things down for an uncertain period of time. When this happens, the Twitter API sends a “you’re not allowed to follow more” error even if you haven’t followed 400 accounts that day. If you wait a little bit, Twitter lets you follow again to see how you’ll behave.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
To help protect your account, Circleboom processes follows at 50 every 15 minutes, with a daily safety limit of 400 follows (800 for unfollows). Any remaining actions continue automatically the next day.
{% endhint %}

## You have exceeded the Twitter error limit. Please wait a little bit more to try it again.

After getting a certain number of Twitter error messages, Circleboom prevents you from making more requests to prevent your account from getting locked or suspended.

If you're getting this error, call it a day and give it a break. When you try after a while, you'll be able to do follow and unfollow requests through the Twitter API.

## To protect our users from spam and other malicious activity, this account is temporarily locked.

Twitter locks or suspends users’ account time to time when they do an aggressive follow churn as mentioned on Circleboom and X Rules [https://help.x.com/en/using-x/x-follow-limit](https://help.x.com/en/using-x/x-follow-limit)

That means, when a user follows too many users in a short time period or unfollows them faster than an average Twitter user, Twitter marks the user for a period to close-watch him/her for follows/unfollows across the Twitter ecosystem including all 3rd party apps like Circleboom, Twitter mobile apps, and websites.

Please log in to [https://x.com](https://x.com) to unlock your account.

## You have been blocked from following this account at the request of the user.

When you try to follow a Twitter account that blocked you earlier, Twitter sends this error message to inform you. Circleboom logs these messages but they might not be shown to you during fast follow actions.

{% hint style="info" %}
To learn more about "Being Blocked", please refer to [Twitter's related article here.](https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitter/someone-blocked-me-on-twitter)
{% endhint %}

## Invalid or expired token.

This might happen when;

1. You try to follow/unfollow after getting "[you are unable to follow more people at this time](https://help.x.com/en/using-x/x-follow-limit)" error, Twitter may think that someone or some apps are using your Twitter account in a harmful way, and may invalidate your Twitter account's tokens (authentication info) to protect your account from being abused by 3rd party systems and expects you to re-login.
2. Your browser has a "Do not track me" feature on it. It may stem from several Twitter authentication issues including the "invalid or expired token" error Twitter sends and blocks your follow/unfollows requests if it is open. ![](https://assets.circleboom.com/help-tool/twitter-help/images/Circleboom-tracking-protection.jpg)
3. The App’s permissions revoked on Twitter. Please check [https://x.com/settings/connected_apps](https://x.com/settings/connected_apps) page if our app named "Circleboom” still got access. If it is revoked by mistake, it prevents Circleboom to fulfill your requests on behalf of you.
4. [Your account may be temporarily suspended](https://help.circleboom.com/twitter/faq/my-account-is-suspended-what-should-i-do) and/or blocked doing any follows/unfollows by Twitter due to aggressive usage.
5. Your computer's time is not synced properly. Please sync your time with the internet time.

![Time sync option for Macs.](https://assets.circleboom.com/help-tool/twitter-help/images/mac-internet-time.png)

![Time sync option for Windows.](https://assets.circleboom.com/help-tool/twitter-help/images/windows-internet-time.png)

{% hint style="warning" %}

{% endhint %}

![](https://assets.circleboom.com/help-tool/twitter-help/images/revoke-apps.jpg)

{% hint style="info" %}
**Pro Tip:** Check your Twitter apps to see if there any other third-party and possibly unreliable apps and revoke their permissions every once in a while to protect your Twitter account and your reputation.
{% endhint %}

If you're getting error messages on Twitter, this article may help you get them solved or let you get around.

# How can I upload Twitter archive files larger than 100 MB

If you're having difficulty uploading your Twitter archive file to [delete your old tweets](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool/delete-all-tweets), first take a look at our tutorial video:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lVQPY8Ivku0" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Are you doing everything just fine, as shown in the tutorial? Then check below:

You could upload your Twitter archive files as compressed zip files. We support Zip and Gzip formats.

Use your favorite Zip program to compress the Tweet.js file and rename the zip file with one of these;

* tweet.js.zip,
* tweet.zip,
* tweet.gz,
* archive.zip,
* archive.gz

Assuming that you've already managed to download your Twitter archive, below is a step-by-step explanation of how to zip your archive file (The example includes the use of a Windows PC and WinRar.)

If you're unable to download your Twitter archive, please visit our related help page titled "[How to download my Twitter history archive](https://help.circleboom.com/twitter/faq/how-to-download-my-twitter-history-archive)". If you've already downloaded it, then proceed with the steps below.

1. Locate your downloaded Twitter archive. It is likely going to be in your downloads folder as a .zip file.

![How_can_I_upload_Twitter_archive_files_larger_than_100_MB_1.png](/uploads/How_can_I_upload_Twitter_archive_files_larger_than_100_MB_1_d0ee3a0c4f.png)

2. Extract all the files from the zipped folder. Then, you'll see several items, as in the following image. From there, you should open the folder named "data".

![How_can_I_upload_Twitter_archive_files_larger_than_100_MB_2.png](/uploads/How_can_I_upload_Twitter_archive_files_larger_than_100_MB_2_9f9aefc406.png)

3. The folder should include a file named "tweet.js" in it. (In some cases, it may also be displayed as "tweets.js", "tweet", or "tweets".) Locate that file and check if it's larger than 100 MB.

![How_can_I_upload_Twitter_archive_files_larger_than_100_MB_3.png](/uploads/How_can_I_upload_Twitter_archive_files_larger_than_100_MB_3_a3007a1422.png)

4. If the tweets.js file is not larger than 100 MB, then there should be no problem uploading it directly to Circleboom Twitter for your tweet deletion requests. However, if the file is too large, you can simply compress it to reduce its file size.

![How_can_I_upload_Twitter_archive_files_larger_than_100_MB_4.png](/uploads/How_can_I_upload_Twitter_archive_files_larger_than_100_MB_4_fddf8f1988.png)

Please note that we discard any files other than Tweet.js in the uploaded archive file.

Once you are done creating the zipped file, please upload it to Circleboom as usual and keep on with your tweet deletion process.

And if you still experience problems during uploading it to our server, please send your tweets.js file to support@circleboom.com and we'll take care of the rest.

{% hint style="success" %}
Where were we? Let's continue [deleting your tweets](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool/delete-all-tweets) in bulk!
{% endhint %}

If you're having difficulty uploading your Twitter archive file to delete your old tweets, you will find answers here!

If you've discovered that your Twitter account is locked, you're likely wondering, "Why is my Twitter account locked?" and "What should I do if my Twitter account is locked?" Don't worry, you're not alone!

Twitter bots 🤖 scan the entire Twitter ecosystem 24/7 to flag [**spammers**](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool/twitter-circle-tool/twitter-bot-checker), [**bot accounts**](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool/twitter-circle-tool/twitter-bot-checker), and accounts acting against [**Twitter's policies**](https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies). Occasionally, these bots wrongly flag genuine user accounts.

## **How to know if my Twitter account is locked**

If you see this when you try to log into your Twitter account:

![account locked original.jpg](/uploads/account_locked_original_a499ffc6f8.jpg)

Do you notice the expression of "**unusual activity**"? What is this unusual activity?

If you are sure your own activities are not "unusual", bots among your followers may be part of the problem. Once you get your account back, you can [**remove bot followers**](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool/twitter-circle-tool/remove-twitter-x-followers) to keep your account healthy.

If you're asking, "How do I know if my Twitter account is locked?" there are some other indicators:

* Locked account notification: When you try to log in, Twitter will display a message stating that your account is locked for security reasons or due to suspicious activity. That's usually why many people say, "Twitter says my account is locked".
* Check your login: If you're unable to log in to your Twitter account, it's a strong indication that it might be locked.
* Email or SMS alerts: Twitter often sends an email or SMS notification informing you that your account has been locked. This message will include instructions on what steps to take to unlock your account.
* Limited functionality: You may notice limited functionality on your account. For example, you might be unable to tweet, retweet, like posts, or follow new accounts.

{% hint style="success" %}
However, the limited functionality of your account may also be related to [Twitter temporarily labeling your account](https://circleboom.com/blog/twitter-temporary-label/) or [shadowbanning](https://circleboom.com/blog/twitter-shadowban/) you. So you might also want to [check your shadowban status](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool/twitter-search-tool/twitter-shadowban-test).
{% endhint %}

And when Twitter locks an account, there might be a couple of [**reasons**](https://circleboom.com/blog/suspended-twitter-accounts). Here are some of the common ones:

## **Why is my Twitter account locked?**

* The most common reason is having no phone number connected to your account. If you don't have a phone number linked to your account, most likely, the bots will flag the account as not genuine sooner or later.

{% hint style="success" %}
Hence, If you haven't added your phone number to your Twitter account, Twitter highly recommends adding mobile phone numbers to accounts to prevent lock-outs. When your account is locked, Twitter needs to confirm you are the valid owner by sending a code via text.
{% endhint %}

* There are also some ways that you can [unlock a Twitter account without a phone number](https://circleboom.com/blog/how-to-unlock-twitter-account-without-phone-number), as the second common reason is that Twitter might lock your account for security purposes. If you are logged in to your account and see a message that your account has been locked for security purposes, this means that Twitter has detected suspicious behavior and bots thought that your Twitter account might be compromised. You need to follow Twitter instructions to re-activate your account. When you do that, you prove you're willingly using 3rd party Apps.

{% hint style="success" %}
Twitter uses automated systems to understand whether you willingly started to use 3rd party applications like Circleboom. It does that by locking you out instead of just asking if you began to use these apps willingly. When you open up the Twitter application on your phone, it automatically verifies you by sending a text message. After that, you're good to go.
{% endhint %}

* Your Twitter account may be locked because it may have violated the Twitter Rules. If your account is limited because it may have violated the Twitter Rules, Twitter may ask you to perform specific actions before removing your restricted state. These actions may include verifying your email address, adding a phone number to your account, or removing Tweets that violate Twitter rules.

{% hint style="info" %}
We highly recommend you avoid automated rules, like sending duplicated tweets, automatic hashtags, and other automated rules stated in [X rules.](https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies/x-rules)&#x20;
{% endhint %}

## **Why is my account locked while I'm using Circleboom or other 3rd party Apps?**

Twitter uses some automated systems to understand if you willingly started to use 3rd party applications like Circleboom by locking you out instead of just asking if you began to use these apps of your own choice. When you open up the Twitter application on your phone, it automatically verifies you by sending an email or a text message. After that, you're good to go.

{% hint style="success" %}

## **My Twitter account is locked for no reason**

If you find that your Twitter account is locked for no apparent reason, it might be due to an error by Twitter's automated systems. If this happens and the steps above do not work, you can reach out to Twitter support via their help page or support channels to Explain your situation and request an account review.

## **Why do my Twitter followers or followings count shown as "0"?**&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
**Don’t panic! You didn't really lose your Twitter followers and followings.**&#x20;
{% endhint %}

It happens when Twitter locks you out. In that case, users can see your profile and your Tweets as the account is still active. When you verify your account, the numbers on your Twitter account will automatically be reinstated by Twitter (_This is not a thing 3rd party applications like Circleboom can do._). Don't forget to add your mobile phone numbers to your Twitter accounts to prevent future lock-outs.&#x20;

## *How long is my Twitter account locked for?*

The duration of a Twitter account lock can vary depending on the reason:

* Temporary lock: In most cases, Twitter locks an account temporarily, often for a period ranging from a few hours to a few days. This typically happens if the lock is due to suspicious activity or a minor policy violation.
* Action-required lock: If Twitter requires you to take action, such as verifying your identity or removing a tweet that violates its rules, your account will remain locked until you complete the necessary steps.
* Permanent lock: In severe cases where there are repeated or serious violations of Twitter's rules, the account may be locked indefinitely. In such situations, you will need to appeal to Twitter for reinstatement.

To determine the exact duration, follow the instructions provided by Twitter in their notifications and emails. Most accounts are unlocked shortly after the requested actions are completed.

{% hint style="danger" %}

# My account is suspended, what should I do?

If your Twitter account has been suspended, there can be several reasons behind it.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Your activity over a specific time period (like aggressive or abusive language) may have led to your suspension.
{% endhint %}

Video tutorial:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sRl1DYsR_tg" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

{% hint style="success" %}
In such a situation, you may need to [delete tweets from that time period](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool/delete-all-tweets/delete-tweets-by-date) selectively or in bulk.
{% endhint %}

Video tutorial:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4eayAXQdLbs" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
{% hint style="warning" %}

Or if you post the same tweet several times, Twitter may consider you to be spamming.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
In this situation, you can [filter these tweets by keywords or topics](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool/delete-all-tweets/delete-tweets-by-keyword) and delete them all at once.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
Aggressive use of following and unfollowing methods to gain more followers is defined as aggressive behavior, and such actions are forbidden by Twitter.
{% endhint %}

Like all services out there, Twitter has its own rules & policies those bind everyone. As Twitter users, all we need to do is to follow directives on [X Rules & Policies](https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies/x-rules).

When your account got suspended by Twitter, check your inbox for account suspension email by Twitter and follow their instructions. Account locking out issues happens regardless of the app you use, whether you use the Twitter website or an application like Circleboom.

If you do not receive an e-mail, you can also appeal for suspension here: [https://help.twitter.com/forms/general](https://help.twitter.com/forms/general)

If your following and follower counts disappear, it is because Twitter temporarily locked your account. Once you verify your account, all the accounts you follow and your followers show up again on your profile page.

Twitter suspends users’ accounts from time to time when they do an aggressive follow churn as mentioned on Circleboom and [X Rules](https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies/x-following-rules):

> What is aggressive follow churn? If you decide to follow someone and then change your mind later, you can visit the person’s profile page and unfollow them. Aggressive follow churn is when an account repeatedly follows and then unfollows a large number of Twitter accounts. That may be done to get lots of people to notice them, to circumvent a Twitter limit, or to change their follower-to-following ratio. These behaviors negatively impact the Twitter experience for other people, are common spam tactics, and may lead to account suspension.

{% hint style="info" %}
Twitter’s rules bind everyone. To help protect your account, Circleboom processes follows at 50 every 15 minutes with a daily safety limit of 400 (800 for unfollows), and continues any remaining actions automatically the next day. What we suggest is to keep your Circleboom account, and use it with nonaggressive intent to strengthen it; otherwise, Twitter may suspend your Twitter account again, and you may have to talk them down to re-open your Twitter account.
{% endhint %}

If your Twitter account has been suspended, we're here to help you!

# I deleted my Twitter archive, but my tweet counter does not show zero after

If you deleted your Twitter archive on Circleboom or any other third-party tools, but the tweet counter doesn't show zero yet, you can watch our video tutorial and try once more:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/8effbsfb4z8" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Still not working? Then continue reading below:

Even though we do our best to reduce your tweet count down to "zero," in some cases, we can't do that due to some Twitter limitations, such as the following:

* You try to delete your Tweet, which is originally a retweet of some other account's, and the original tweet has been deleted by its owner.
* You try to delete a retweet that the original poster (the source) account suspended, deleted, deactivated, or became private.
* Your tweet is on a server whose data is not fully updated by Twitter.

If one of these cases is the issue, we try to delete your tweet; however, the result might not be reflected in your Tweet count on Twitter due to their architecture.

# Whitelisting Twitter Followers

The Whitelist protects selected accounts from all bulk actions in Circleboom, such as bulk unfollow, bulk remove follower and mass block. Whitelisted accounts are excluded from these actions in every Circleboom feature. You can list them anytime with the **Whitelisted & Blacklisted** filter in **Filter Options**.

**Step 1:** Open any follower or following list, for example **Followers / Following Management & Analytics > Following > Not Following Back**. The **shield icon** on each row adds that account to your Whitelist individually.

**Step 2:** If you want to add more than one Twitter account to your whitelist, select them and click **Add to List (N selected)**, then choose **Whitelist**.

You can see all your whitelisted accounts under **Followers / Following Management & Analytics > Whitelist & Blacklist > Whitelist**.

![Whitelist](https://content-assets.circleboom.com/twitter-tool/whitelisted-accounts.png)

# Profile clicks not working/slow on the grid list?

The Twitter profile clicks and the follow/unfollow requests use the same browser capacity which allows 4 concurrent connections for modern-day browsers. That means, if there are items in the queue, the profile click request also gets in the line and waits for the queue to be processed.

It is better to click Twitter profiles on the Grid when there are no items in the queue.

# Why some of Twitter accounts’ last tweet date column show “no info” in the grid listing?

The reasons listed below prevent Circleboom from showing the last tweet date of Twitter accounts:

1. If Twitter accounts are protected then nobody can reach those accounts’ tweets. We label those accounts’ last tweet date as a “No info” on Grid.
2. Accounts have never tweeted or deleted all their tweets.
3. Circleboom bots regularly check all cached Twitter accounts in our servers and update the last tweets date regularly. Some accounts may not be updated yet. Most likely, these accounts will be updated soon. During this short time gap, we label those accounts as “no info” on Grid.

# Can I replace my child account?

{% hint style="info" %}
**Child Accounts** feature is now available to Plus and Premium users, enhancing your experience with more flexibility and control.
{% endhint %}

Circleboom's policy does not allow the substitution of one Twitter account for another within an existing paid subscription. Each subscription is uniquely tied to a specific Twitter account, ensuring the security and integrity of your Twitter authorization.

To manage a different Twitter account, a new Circleboom subscription must be established for that particular account. This approach is designed to uphold the security and management quality of Circleboom's services.

# Getting "Somehow your Twitter token is expired or invalidated..." message

The token issue is a very rare issue which some of our users may occasionally experience. Actually, the issue is on the Twitter side.

If you get the below pop-up repeatedly while you are using Circleboom app, you can get rid of it by following these instructions.

> "Somehow your Twitter token is expired or invalidated this happens when you changed something on Twitter or You've been idle too long. Please log-in again to fix this"

![Annoying Twitter Token Expire problem.](https://assets.circleboom.com/help-tool/twitter-help/images/Twitter-Token-Circleboom.png)

### Step 1: Find Circleboom

Please go to your X (Twitter) settings: **Settings and privacy > Security and account access > Apps and sessions > Connected apps**. You can also open [x.com/settings/connected_apps](https://x.com/settings/connected_apps) directly. Once you get the app list, look for "Circleboom" in it.

![settings_appdevices.png](/uploads/settings_appdevices_9252b77120.png)

If you couldn't see the Circleboom app on your Twitter Apps list,

1. Please log out from Circleboom and Twitter
2. Log in again to your Circleboom account
3. Check the app list until you see Circleboom under Settings and privacy > Security and account access > Apps and sessions > Connected apps. Sometimes, Twitter might not show the apps on your list. Therefore, proceed with this step frequently until you see the Circleboom app in your Twitter Apps List. You will see the Circleboom app soon on your list.

![](https://assets.circleboom.com/help-tool/twitter-help/images/revoke-apps.jpg)

### Step 2: Revoke the permission

After seeing Circleboom Apps on your Twitter App List, please revoke Circleboom's permissions and remove it from your Twitter account.

![](https://assets.circleboom.com/help-tool/twitter-help/images/revoke-app-circleboom.jpg)

### Step 3: Rest

Please give your Circleboom account a rest, at least a couple of hours after revoking Circleboom’s permissions to try again. Do not use your Circleboom account for a couple of hours.

 By “Waiting a couple of hours", we mean around 12 hours at minimum, and this might be necessary to fix your problem. Most probably, the Twitter servers release your token within that period.

### Step 4: Try again

After waiting a couple of hours, log in to your Circleboom account to see if it is working.

If the issue is still there, please repeat the steps again, and wait at least 24 hours on Step 3.

* When you request your archive, X (Twitter) will prepare a ZIP file with the information most relevant to your account, including all tweets, images, and videos you've shared (including retweeted ones, too), and send you an email when it is ready.

* Click on the `download link` in the email Twitter sent you. This link will take you to your archive file's download page.

* Once you open up the `Download or view data page`, click on the `Download data` button.

* Once you have downloaded your Twitter archive file, extract it to a folder. In the extracted folder, you will have a data subfolder, and there, you should look for the file named `Tweets.js` in the folder. Alternatively, the archive file can be called as `tweet.js`, `tweets` or `tweet`.

# Why some of my likes still shown on my Twitter profile?

Are your unliked tweets still showing up on your Twitter account? Let us explain the reasons and how to delete Twitter likes at once.

If you've already deleted all your Twitter likes present on your account page, and some are still available there, you can [get rid of all your Twitter likes at once via Circleboom](https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool/unlike-delete-all-twitter-likes) with the **Delete All Likes** tool!

Secondly, if you still want to know the most possible reasons behind this problem, let us explain it briefly.
\
Twitter’s back-end systems run on a distributed cluster of decomposed services. There are often cases where data sets will need to resynchronize between instances and data centers. This means, all the user data moves between server farms all the time, and some data servers may update later than others.

{% hint style="info" %}
It is also a common issue among the Twitter community here: [https://twittercommunity.com/t/discrepancy-in-followers-count/80018/20…](https://t.co/YXogCYz9PA?amp=1)

{% endhint %}

TLDR; services like Circleboom make requests to Twitter via their official APIs (programmer access interfaces) and Twitter fulfills the requests successfully. Yet, they may show some of the destroyed data for a while.
